The reality show - Raaz Pichhle Janam Ka- being aired on NDTV Imagine does not go very well with the scientific temper. Such shows are creating fear psychosis and motivating people towards superstition.
The method of journey to the past life is by induced-hypnosis where the significant events stored in brain are mapped into some past situations. The brain cooks up a perfect sounding story and people draw correlations with these stories with their present lives. This is absolutely unscientific and must be stopped immediately.
Probably, the best way to stop such superstitions is by stopping to watch them. The TV channels will continue to air such stuff as long as they generat TRPs. Its we, who are most affected by such stuff, have to respond by keeping away.
