Things we can BAN!

Since our country is at an all time high of banning everything that moves nowadays, I figured why not add a few more things to the list.

5) Akshay Kumar’s Grin: Every time Akshay grins it makes my God shake in his platinum plated golden throne. It is the word of my god to Ban his disturbingly crazy smile from this world!

4) Women Drivers: Everyone knows that, women shouldn’t be out of the kitchen. Hence women drivers should either be banned, or Maruti better start making Cars with stoves inside them.

3) Technology: This tech boom is the main reason why people have stopped worshipping the gods. We should ban all mobiles, laptops, computer, and internet! That way everyone will be miserable—just like us!

2) Songs: Bollywood Songs influence our generation the most. So remember that every time you play Chikni Chameli, your daughters will want to turn into prostitutes! To protect the dignity of women, we must ban all the songs from all the movies.Special songs like Halkat Jawani , chikni chameli,Honey Singh.

1) Ban all Indian Actress: These women who dress in skimpy clothes and strut around the screen give bad principles to the current generation! Our customs do not allow such behavior! We should BAN all the actress. If they compulsory have to show actress on screen, then the actress should always be dressed in clothes larger than a circus tent and should be inside a kitchen!

Of most of the article I write, this is the one I myself most worried about as all the women are.. yeah.. Weight Issues...and you know what is the height of Irony ..Me writing Health and Fitness story.  :D

Dont know how many times we criticize this man, But we must agree that we have read all of his books, no matter how cheezy thay are. But there is something in his wwritings & thoughts that have given a new perspective to our generation. Here's another heart touching article by him..

My mother worked for 40 years. My wife is the COO at an international bank. It makes me proud. She doesn't make phulkas for me. We outsource that work to our help, and it doesn't really bother me. If my wife had spent her life in the kitchen, it would have bothered me more.

a man who marries a career woman gets a partner to discuss his own career with. A working woman may be able to relate better to organizational issues than a housewife. A spouse who understands office politics and can give you good advice can be an asset.

a working woman diversifies the family income streams. In the era of expensive apartments and frequent lay-offs, a working spouse can help you afford a decent house and feel more secure about finances. 

Three, 
a working woman is better exposed to the world. She brings back knowledge and information that can be useful to the family. Whether it's the latest deals or the best mutual fund to invest in, or even new holiday destinations, a working woman can add to the quality of life. 

Four, 
the children of a working woman learn to be more independent and will do better than mollycoddled children.

Five, 
working women often find some fulfillment in their jobs, apart from home. Hence, they may have better life satisfaction, and feel less dependent on the man. This in turn can lead to more harmony.

Review of Sahib Biwi Gangster Returns

The sequel is shot in the same haveli  in Deogarh which witnessed the  love, lust ,bloodshed and betrayal in the first part . Saheb  is in a wheel-chair and still making money by settling other people’s scores .He has started believing that the haveli  controls the lives and minds of its inhabitants . The paths of the Gangster,  Saheb and   Biwi cross when Saheb’s step-mother, plants the idea of an heir and a second wife in Saheb's mind.

The lead characters are introduced in the same fashion as in the first part .If the earlier one was a  fast and raunchy bedroom drama with sharp minded scheming characters who weave a web of relationships,  this one moves out of  the bedroom and focuses on  the political issue of division of the state .
Though the film is an extravagant and grander version of the one we watched two years ago, it is slow with  confused characters who keep falling in and out of love without any strong reasons or motives .  Every character is grey, they have their own selfish motives, their own insecurities and their own internal conflicts to resolve.The saving grace of the film lies in it's powerful dialogues and great acting .

Irrfan Khan 's character starts off nice. There's a scene where he interviews a politician who is busy watching porn on his laptop .But as the film progresses he is shown to be losing his focus . The climax makes you ponder on  what Irrfan was set to accomplish and what he achieves finally.

Jimmy Shergill as Saheb is flawless and spellbinding . His character has the maximum no. of shades . From the man who hates his wife , to a man who can go to any lengths to get the woman he wants  ,to settling scores with those who crossed his way, he is just perfect . His dialogue  “jante ho mard itni galiyan kyun dete hain…kyunki woh rote kum hain”  is followed by claps and whistles from the audience.

Mahie Gill is perfect as the seductive and lusty Biwi .  Her drunken enactments and dialogue delivery is flawless . Despite the history she shares with Saheb she still has feelings for him which may be shown in Part3.

Soha Ali has given a good performance ,though her character lacks the spice to stay in the third and maybe the finale of this saga.
  

The song ' Bas chhal, kapat, prapanchh hai , Har swaarth ka yeh munch hai'   reminds us of the song 'Arambh hai prachand ' from  Gulaal (2009) 

In a line though the story doesn't end here , it's excellent dialogues manage to create enough curiosity for Part 3.

Must watch for Jimmy Shergill 's fans and people who liked the first part .
